There is a plan dated 1857 in the We found a hand drawn plan of this New Yard in the effects of a former Church Warden. It was his working copy and gives his version of the surnames of people buried in each plot.
When we checked the plan to the headstones we found that some of them agreed and these have been marked in red. It is apparent that some of the names on the plan are incorrect (see grave F0 where there are three spellings of the same surname) but you may find the plan useful if there is no headstone. Please treat the names in black with caution.
This is a list of names which might help you to locate a grave. Surnames in CAPITALS indicate that there is a monumental inscription - see Monuments tab
To find the position of the grave ignore the first two numbers, so grave ref letter H number 2015 followed by 1 would be in Row H grave number 15 the first burial in that grave in the new yard.
