Wibsey Slack had a class in the Methodist society and membership is known from 1788 to 1792. There were two classes at Wibsey Slack in 1788, one under the leadership of Jonathan Hudson, and one under Thomas Stocks. The “2nd class” under Thomas Stocks was only listed in 1788, and the two classes seem to have combined under Jonathan Hudson with a reduced membership from 1790.

The book gives the state of class membership for four separate years over five years. A grey cell means that person is listed as being amongst the membership for that particular year. The initials in the cell shows whose class it was
There are wide variations in the spelling of names in these books. We have standardised the names here but spelling variations are listed under the 'Notes' column. The listings were usually made in June. The earlier records give the most information about members while the latter years just give name and surname.
