United Methodist (Salvationist Mission) North Road In 1886 after years of meeting in homes the Salvationists built a Mission Hall on the Slack on the site where the Library now stands in North Road. It was known locally as 'The Tin Chapel'. In 1909 an article in the booklet 'Victorian Church Life in Wibsey' says that they joined the Methodist New Connection. The present library is the same building modified. |
